charming stay with a few quirks
I truly appreciated the historic charm and character of the hotel. The spacious Standard Double Room was inviting and well-kept, providing a cozy refuge. The lively atmosphere thanks to the four bars onsite made our evenings enjoyable. Plus, the staff went out of their way to ensure we were happy during our stay.
But the street noise at night could be quite disruptive, especially for light sleepers.

Loved the historical charm and cozy vibe! Our Queen Room was spacious and well-furnished. Just a bit noisy at night from the street below. 😊

The historic character of the building creates a unique atmosphere that’s hard to find. The arrangement of restaurants and bars adds a lively vibe, perfect for exploring local craft brews just outside the door.
The Standard Double Room felt cramped, especially with two large bags—navigating space was no easy feat. The bathroom was tight, and hot water took its sweet time. Lacking in-room amenities like coffee makers or hairdryers made for a less comfortable stay. The absence of an elevator means hauling your luggage up multiple flights, which can be rough after a long day. Limited parking can be stressful, especially if you prefer to explore beyond the immediate area, as you could end up parking quite a distance from the hotel.

Charming atmosphere with fantastic staff
I stayed for two nights in a Queen Room and absolutely loved the unique historic vibe of this charming place. The location is perfect, right in the heart of downtown, which made it easy to explore all the local attractions and enjoy the lively atmosphere with its four bars. The staff was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. One downside was the noise from the bars, which made it hard to sleep until late.
